002 "MSU Makerspaces"

In episode #2, we get a chance to sit down with Emily Brozovic who is designer here at the Hub and Terence O’Neill who is an Entrepreneurship Librarian. Emily in her role with MSU’s Information Technology has been tasked with coordinating cross-campus conversations over the past year with various Makerspace interest groups. Terence is the primary liaison between the Broad College of Business and the Gast Business Library in areas including supply chain management, human resources and labor relations, and Corporate social responsibility. Together, the makerspaces on MSU's campus have been learning what can be done to better collaborate together, share resources and make more information available to the broader MSU community. We will learn about what has been happening with Makerspaces here at MSU in the past year and how these diverse and interesting spaces have been designed primarily for supplementing authentic and problem-based learning environments with a posture toward student success.
