Anne Lu is a freelance carillonneur living in New York and a
laureate of the 2024 Queen Fabiola Carillon Competition. She has
had the privilege of studying with Ellen Dickinson at Yale University,
where she began playing carillon, and Eddy Marien, Koen Van
Assche, and Boudewijn Zwart during a year at the Royal Carillon
School in Mechelen, Belgium. When she is not looking for spiral
staircases to climb, Anne enjoys reading fiction, eating dark
chocolate, and wooing cats.
