Grab your morning beverage and join us to learn more about five MI bird species! Each session we’ll highlight birds that you can find in our SW Michigan backyards, woods, and waters this time of year.
We will be highlighting Birding Hot Spots in Kalamazoo
This month, we will be joined by Audubon Society of Kalamazoo (ASK)president Donna Keller for a birds and coffee chat. She will highlight Kalamazoo County birding hotspots Kleinstuck Preserve, Kellogg Bird Sanctuary, and Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery and chat about a few birds you can see during spring migration.
Donna Keller began birding more than twenty years ago as a way to exercise her body and mind and get her nature fix. A teacher by training, she enjoys leading bird walks for the Audubon Society of Kalamazoo, of which she serves as president. When she's not birding, she enjoys native gardening and working in various aspects of election administration.
There is no fee for this online program but to receive a secure link to the zoom meeting. Your hosts are educators: Lisa Duke and Misty Klotz from Kellogg Biological Station and Kellogg Bird Sanctuary. Zoom in and participate by sharing your recent bird sightings and asking questions!
