This is a recording of Session 3 of the Cultivating Local Food Economies Webinar Series. During this session we focused the information on specific issues, regulations and information that are relevant to agritourism operations that may be engaging in value-added/food processing activities as well. Presentations included MSU Extension's Mary Reily providing an overview of the issue, Product Center Innovation Counselor Kendra Wills describing the different regulatory factors that go into producing value-added food products, and a real life example of planning and zoning development around food processing and agritourism from Sharon Township.
