Do you need R for your research but are not sure where to start? Have you tried learning R but struggled to learn on your own? This seminar is for you!

This seminar is designed as an accessible and inclusive resource on how to learn R and includes a 60-minute seminar session and access to a curated set of resources for learning R.

This seminar will discuss:

• The capabilities and utility of using R in your research
• The basics of using R and RStudio
• How to load, manipulate, summarize, and visualize your data
• Exposure to commonly used R packages such as tidyr, dplyr, and ggplot2
• How to explore and learn to use new functions and packages in R
• Recommendations for trouble-shooting errors
• A collection of resources designed to help you learn R
