Miguel Sague, Jr. is responsible for Community Outreach, Education, and Information at the Speaker’s Bureau of Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center (COTRAIC). The Speakers’ Bureau is made up of Native Americans currently living in Western Pennsylvania representing several different Indigenous nations. Miguel is Taino by way of Cuba and is an Indigenous artist and retired art educator in Pennsylvania. He shares a general overview of the Indigenous presence in Western Pennsylvania from the 1600s to present day and discusses his own artwork and life experiences.
