During the COVID-19 outbreak, many in the MSU community have found themselves working remotely. While remote work has advantages, it’s important to address the ergonomics of a home office to reduce the risk of injury. This session will explore the basics of ergonomic aides, injury prevention, how to set up a workstation, and stretches/exercises for keeping work-related pain at bay. This session will include 10-15 minutes of guided, low-impact stretching and movement.
Key Objectives: Participants will learn the basics of ergonomics, common ergonomic stressors that can lead to musculoskeletal injuries, and strategies for staying pain-free and productive.
As a follow up to the Ergonomics blog, we are offering an interactive session on Ergonomics.
