The MSU Libraries have launched SearchPlus, a new research tool which
allows users to search most of the library's online databases
and the library catalog all at the same time.
The result is a
multidisciplinary set
of citations, which can then be filtered by date, language, subject, and
content type -- such as books, articles in scholarly journals, newspaper
articles, dissertations, and more. MSU faculty, staff, and current
students can use their MSUnet login to connect seamlessly from
SearchPlus results to online full-text content.
Alumni and other
community users can use the complete citation information provided by
SearchPlus to request an interlibrary loan through their local public
library. (Due to longstanding license restrictions, the library may only
provide online access to licensed content to current students, faculty,
and staff.)
SearchPlus is powered by ProQuest's Summon® software.
