The July Agritourism Working Group meeting was hosted on July 21st. The meeting included a discussion about the June 2026 Global Agritourism Network Conference, but was primarily focused on a presentation by representatives from the American Indigenous Tourism (AIT) Association. Gail E. Chehak, Community and Partner Relations Director, and Hannah Peterson, Program Development Director, joined our meeting to share their organizations experiences, challenges, and opportunities in promoting and developing agritourism on with native tribes. We believe this will be a great opportunity to connect our two organizations and begin to collaborate to support agritourism on tribal lands.
