As Conductor and MSU Director of Orchestras Octavio Más-Arocas once said, "You can’t go wrong with any of the Mahler symphonies!" In this concert, it is Titan and Symphony No. 1 in D Major that brings everything from the delicate to the powerful. Also included in the program is Aere Perennius by Dinah Bianchi and a piece by MSU's own David Biedenbender, something deeply hidden. Our thanks to Linn Van Dyne and Mike Knox for generously sponsoring this event in loving memory of Hal W. Hepler, Ph.D.
