Veterinary nurses are vital members of the veterinary healthcare team. Here at Michigan State University, the College of Veterinary Medicine has an accredited Veterinary Nursing Program that is the equivalent of a human nursing program. Our Veterinary Nursing Program offers two degree options; a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Nursing and a Certificate of Completion in Veterinary Nursing. Both programs are centered on learning and put the motto "See one, do one, teach one" into practice every day. The veterinary nurses at MSU are trained to anticipate needs—the needs of their patients and the needs of their colleagues and doctors—that's their focus and that's their specialty. They are Spartans, and they are Veterinary Nurses.
